Client Conduct
Therapeutic massage is non-sexual contact. Although relaxation and the intimate touch associated with massage can prompt a physical response, this is not the intended outcome. No sexualized language or behavior is appropriate either by the client or the therapist. Any breach of this will cause the session to be terminated. The client will not be reimbursed.
Confidentiality
All health and personal information is confidential and will not be shared with any third party unless:
- legally subpoenaed
- released by written consent of the client
- evidence of child abuse is revealed
- express permission is granted
This means that even if I treat members of the same family or others you may know, your healthcare and any matters discussed will not be shared unless express permission to do so is given.
You let me know if there is any shared information which you do not want recorded in your written file.

Cancellation/
Lateness Policy
Without 24 hour notice of cancellation/rescheduling or if the client skips a session without notification, the client may be charged a cancellation fee.
If the client shows up late within the first 15 minutes of the session, a shortened session will be given; if the client shows up more than 15 minutes late, the session may be canceled and the client may be charged for the session.
Intoxication
A client who is clearly under the influence of an intoxicant will be refused service. The client will not be reimbursed.
Scope of Practice
I am legally bound to work only within my scope of practice. Please be reminded that Massage Therapists are not able to diagnose conditions or diseases. In the event that a client needs treatment that is out of my scope of practice, I will happily refer that client to the proper type of practitioner.
Payment
Cash, personal checks, and Venmo are accepted.
Payment is due when services are rendered unless other arrangements are agreed upon in advance.
There is a $30 charge for any returned check.
